Some RailRiders Customer Reviews...
"I have owned my one pair of Weatherpants for a few years now and wear them backpacking, hiking, kayaking, biking and to work on construction sites and I thought I knew how tough they were. Last week I went on a bike ride and just as I entered my neighborhood a mix-breed german shepard ran out into the street and latched onto my thigh! I could feel his teeth scrape across my leg but they could not penetrate the fabric! Only when his teeth slid off my thigh and he was able to get a grip on the loose fabric did he manage to rip it. Even then he only managed to make a small hole, and I was able to dismount my bike and get him to turn me loose. I fully credit my Weatherpants from keeping me unscathed! I have since ordered your Winter Weatherpants and expect them to be even tougher! Thanks RailRiders for disproving the old saying that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is! Your claim that Weatherpants will keep you out of harm's way it absolutly true!"
– Steve Chase, Grand Prairie, Texas
“I started on Springer Mountain in Georgia with one pair of pants: RailRiders Weatherpants. Two backpacks, three boots, six months, six days later, I finished on Mount Katahdin in Maine with the same pair of pants. I wore my RailRiders on the train down to Georgia, I wore them on the trail, I wore them into town, I wore them in the wind, I wore them in the rain, I wore them in my sleeping bag, I wore them in five-star restaurants, I wore them to fend off bugs, Iwore them to fend off a chill, I wore them on the train home to West Virginia. I wore them everywhere, but I did not wear them out. I still wear them."
– Keith Dailey, Appalachian Trail Thru-hiker, Glengary, West Virginia
“Just north of Boston somewhere I bought a pair of RailRiders Rampage Shorts in the fall of 1997. I have worn them 74,396 times since then and I am wearing them today. They are the finest shorts ever conceived and the planet would bebetter off if people made other stuff the way you people made these shorts. Thanks for your product. I would also like to endorse Haagan Daaz “Coffee Toffee Crunch," although they quit making it about the time I bought these fine shorts.”
– Mike Otten , Cedar Park, Texas
“Your Eco-Mesh Shirt is like a second skin during an adventure race, serving as a first line of protection against the sun and the elements. During oppressive jungle humidity, the Eco-Mesh Shirt protects against insects and during the heat of the midday sun, it acts as a loose fitting, cooling layer of sunscreen. despite its featherweight construction, it is incredibly durable and resistant to tears from branches or abrasion wear from rocks. breathable, it does not retain odors and can be worn consecutively for days and nights.”
– Dan O'Shea, Navy SEAL and adventure racer, San Diego, California
